The AL-5000 Alcoscan Breathalyzer - Personal Alcohol Tester
The AL-5000 is a lighweight and easy to use "High Quality Personal" tester. Its semiconductor-oxide sensor provides your BAC reading at a very wide range - from 0.00 to 0.40 %BAC. A mouthpiece is required - just blow into the sensor and your BAC is displayed in seconds on the easy to read LCD screen. This model is easy to use and affordable. Mouthpieces are recommended and sold separately.

The AlcoScan AL5000  boasts several new features, such as a cumulative test counter and specialized notification messages. The AlcoScan AL5000 is also smaller and more lightweight compared with our AlcoMate series of breath alcohol testers, and features a high accuracy level for professional use. The AlcoScan AL5000 includes large, convenient mouthpieces that can be easily replaced, as well as clear LED display and indicators.
